HOLA.
This week went by pretty well. We taught a lot of lessons!
Last Monday, we taught Cinthia. She is really cool. She was not able to come to church yesterday, because Saturday was her birthday, but she worked all day and so on Sunday her family took her out... Hopefully next week! Next week is the Primary program, so that will be cool.
Tuesday was a super good day. We taught 5 lessons! That's so good! We taught a lesson with Virginia. She is still the same. Adventist people are weird. Then we had a lesson with Angel. He is a new investigator. It wasn't really that good of a lesson because we only had 10 minutes and we rushed through it a lot... So, we are going to try to start over from the beginning with him.
We finally taught Carlos Leon too!!! He told us he has Thursdays off now, so we are going to try to pass by then. We tried last Thursday, but right when we got there, he was headed off to work because they called him in :( hopefully we can teach him again soon though!
Then we finally had an English class! We haven't had one for like, 2 weeks... But, people finally came and we could teach English again!
Halloween was good! We didn't really do a whole lot... We taught one lesson! Do you remember a lady named Maria Moreno? I taught her a loooooong time ago, when I first started! We found her!!! So, we taught her on Thursday. Then we had to go in at 7... I think we should have gone in earlier though. Around 6 is when all the parties are starting and everyone thought we were dressed up as missionaries. It was crazy! People in Cali have some weird costumes... Californians are strange sometimes. No kids came trick or treating to our house... We didn't have any candy for them anyways jaja. Elder Tellez would have eaten it all. We just watched movies the whole night.
On Saturday we had exchanges! I went with Elder Lefevre and Elder Robles in their area. It was a lot of fun!
This Saturday I am going on another exchange! This time is with Elder Reddin. He is the Zone Leader here. We started the mission at the same time! And you know what this Saturday is, right? 2 year mark!!! CRAZY!!! I cannot believe it has been 2 years already... Time goes by so quickly!!! The mission has been worth every single second though. Sometimes things are hard, but you really don't remember the hard parts. Yeah, they are always there, but the joy you feel from helping other exceeds all the other bad feelings. Being a missionary is the best!!!
Yesterday we found a really cool investigator. His name is Manuel. We taught really well yesterday during that lesson! The Spirit was really strong and Manuel said he felt "a marvelous feeling" as we taught him about the Restoration of the Gospel. We were going to invite him to be baptized, but a little miscommunication happened between us three missionaries and we were not able to do so... But, we have another cita with him next Sunday, and he is definitely going to be baptized!!!
I don't want to wake up to snow... Ever. That's why I am going to stay here FOREVER!!! :)
Sounds like the new car is sweet! Send me some pictures! Or I could wait. It's only 3 weeks ;) everyone is going to think our family is gothic or something! 4 black cars and a gray one! how boring! jaja jk
Next holiday you won't have to tell me how it is because I will actually be there!
Do you know anything about when I am coming home? Like, when they are going to relieve me? Or homecoming talk? Or anything like that?
I hope you all have a fantastic week! LOS QUIERO.
