Wow. It's all over. It doesn't feel like it though. It just feels like I am being transferred. But... I am being transferred to Utah! Lots of people have told me it doesn't hit you until you are either on the plane home or when the badge is taken off. This is crazy!
This week went pretty well. It rained all day Wednesday and Thursday and a little of Friday too, so that was kind of a bummer. I thought that I was never going to see sunshine again!!! But, it's super nice and sunny outside and I love Cali weather :) I haaaate snow... noooooooo...
I don't remember if I told you about this or not. Sometime last week, we were walking around in an apartment complex, contacting people. Some guy was sitting in a truck and told us to come and talk to him. His name is Roberto and he is from Utah! From West Valley. Him and his family are not members, but they are learning from the missionaries right now. Roberto is up here in Cali working with his uncle and cousins. So, we have decided to start teaching him up here, while his family is being taught in Utah, so that he can be able to be baptized along with them! It's pretty cool. We were actually the first missionaries that officially taught him. His family has only been learning about the Church for like, 2 months. He goes back to Utah every 3 weeks to his family and he went to an activity the last time he went. He really likes the Church and everything it does. He understands everything so well too! He is an awesome guy. He is going back to Utah on Wednesday to be with his family for Thanksgiving.
We taught a lady named Irma on Friday. She is really Catholic, but is interested en learning about the differences between our Church and all the other ones. We invited her to be baptized, but she declined because she has already been baptized... But, she has a lot of potential and seems like she would make a good member.
There have been a lot of going away stuff. Lots tonight as well. We are eating with one of my favorite families in the whole world, la familia Medina, and they were are going to eat at Cinthia's house (and Elder Nealy is going to go!) and then we are going to la familia Garfias. It has been really nice to be able to serve in this ward again. I was born here and now I am going to die here too!
I think that is all I have for this week.
See you in a few days :)
I love you!
